The piece I will share with you this week will discuss the importance of running and how it will impact your success.
I used to be a college athlete I was on the track and field team, my events were the 110m and 400m hurdles. At heart I was a sprinter and loved the 110m hurdles however I despised the 400m hurdles because it was too long and challenging of a race for me. If there is one thing I learned from track and field it was not how to hurdle, it was not how to run and it was not how to train my body…what I learned was NEVER STOP RUNNING.
Life is a journey, on this journey you will have successes, failures, good times, bad times, positive experiences and negative experiences all of which contribute to who you are today.
As we live our lives we must understand we will never reach our maximum ability because we can always do better if we chose to, therefore our work will never be complete. The only way one will reach their maximum potential is when they become complacent. However, we must continue to work and/or study at our crafts to achieve greatness and success the best way we can.
“Success is not a destination it is a journey”
As entrepreneurs, educators, doctors, lawyers, students etc is to remember to…”never stop running”. Your challenge for the week is to look at the term “running” as a verb that contributes to your success. For example “never stop learning” “never stop growing” “never stop loving”. Once you replace the word running with another verb continue the exercise and see how many words you come up with and how they contribute your life.
